Billy & Bombino, New York Times, Newport Folk

Good Day Wylder Family,

Holy Africa, Billy's in the New York Times!

Avi just returned from an incredible tour with the Nigerien rockers, Bombino! He was traveling with the group as their tour manager and joined the band on harmonica. "These guys are my Saharan soul brothers and I am totally electrified from my journey with them!" Bombino comes from the nomadic Tuareg tribe from North and West Africa and the band's music has lifted their people's spirit through war, rebellion, drought, and exile. Now, audiences around the world are being invigorated by their hypnotic music and message. Highlights of the tour included late night jams, opening up for Robert Plant and performing at the Newport Folk Festival.

And now, the Wylder brothers are back together and we're pumped to take the show on the road this week.
